Bar-coding

A bar code is a machine-readable representation of information. They are use to store date in the widths and spacing of printed parallel lines, but today they also come in patterns of dots, concentric circles, and text codes hidden within images. Barcodes can be read by optical scanners called barcode readers or scanned from images by special software. Barcodes are widely used to implement Auto ID data capture systems to improve the speed and accuracy of computer data entry. That is why barcode is use in logistical packaging. It is to keep provide information about the product and also to keep track of inventory in and out of the warehouse. The latest used bar-coding in logistical packaging is RFID.

Bar-coding is use to identified the item quickly and automatically reordered to meet consumer demand. It is to ensure accuracy of the product information that is why bar-coding is related to logistical packaging as it’s printed on the product packaging to make logistical operation more effective and efficient.
